Yep, I had exactly the same problem too, so I made a script that wraps it in .mp4. Since .mkv is just a container for the file, there is no loss of video quality when wrapping to a .mp4 (most conversion programs will attempt to convert the file, resulting in a loss of quality).
Here's the script (right click > save as):
MKV to MP4 scriptHow to install- Make sure Python 3.x is installed [Download].
- Download FFmpeg and extract it somewhere on your PC [Download].
- Open my script in notepad and point ffmpeg_path to the location of your ffmpeg.exe.
Now just drag and drop any .mkv file onto my script and it will make a .mp4 copy in the same folder of the original file.
I keep the script on my desktop so its easy to find.
