Ukraine, yet again.

Ukraine is seeking to join NATO. If that happens, and the US get involved, Russia will have no choice but to back down. If Russia continues acting that way it has, they'll only be making themselves look worse in front of the world's superpowers.

Then China joins Russia and we're all like heyull naw.

Russia has the 2nd most powerful military in the world, China has the 3rd. NATO vs these 2 super powers would definately not be a walk in the park. I sure as hell hope I'm never around to witness that ever happening.

Us have already backed down... It's Europe vs Russia.... China will stay out of it unless they see an advantage to pressing their territorial claims on the Japanese Islands. They won't be drawn into a European theatre - but could take advantage of the situation in Asia, seeing USA as weak and not prepared to intervene..

NATO conference this week is key to all our futures. 

Atleast the good thing is that the UK didnt get rid of most of our armed forces and reduce our navy to more like a small boat club. I bet the Russians would be shaking in their boots seeing the convoy of sealink ferry's and pickfords vans heading towards them.

Pickfords vans strike terror into the hearts of all law-abiding civilised folk.
They have conducted more invasions than any army and you can-not-stop them.
Be afraid Russia, be very afraid.

And Europe is in a better state economy wise than Russia - I guarantee you. Why do you think PUTIN is desperate to see this through.. he wants concessions, recognition, divert his crumbling economy towards a war footing, great for the polls. The Average Russian Honestly thinks what they are doing is the right thing.....

We get Russian TV for obvious reasons and the crap they spout is amazing...

The only thing the Russians have in their favor economically is that they supply the majority of the gas to the Europe - not that we can't get it elsewhere, it's just less convenient, hence more expensive... Bring on Fracking I say.

It could (and SHOULD) seriously backfire for them as there will be significant worldwide Economic sanctions and potentially reparations to Ukraine for years to come... PUTIN'S gamble is that we will sit here and do what we normally do.. Talk about it, and do Jack s**t else
