2014 World Cup


I think we're certain to lose on penalties somewhere along the line.
Too many decades of watching England "under perform", when in fact we're not all that good to start with.
Let's all just enjoy watching Brazil win the Cup with beautiful football. ;-)

May not be beautiful any more from Brazil, but they will likely win - home advantage is massive.

In what way was my prediction based on that stat not 100% accurate? Brazil made it to the semi-final and then only stood a 30% chance of winning that and the next match. So getting knocked out was spot on.

I have to say that germany clearly deserved to win the cup. However I dont think that germany was playing a extraordinary tournament. If you ask me, they never had to face a enemy during the tournament that was on the same level. The other teams were either not on the same technical level or were lacking the will to win like portugal or brazil.
