Future Weapons.

417 and the L129A1 my favourite too.

There is a rendition of the L129A1 in arma 2, but the Scope isn't configured properly.

Hopefully someone will get it sorted for A3.

We already have 417's and 416's as part of the Nato weapon pack - you'll have to hurry up with that PC build so you can some and try them out.

Next we'll all be patrolling around wearing motorbike helmets.

I asked the guys who built the jackal exactly your questions Mike.

"what the hell were they thinking.....?!"

His response was a laugh and the explanation that the key requirement was visibility. The ability for all the occupants to be able to have 360 view for any threats.

Clearly this would be useless on a Conventional Battlefield, And i challenged him on this. Yeah it's designed to defeat an ied or mine from below (shaped like a v or a boat etc) but try telling that to the 7 guys blinded, deafened and knocked out sitting in the sweetspot when the blast is refracted into the passenger compartment...

I'd MUCH prefer the Closed systems we use...
