Thinking of selling my Rig

I'm toying with the idea of building a new rig, and if there is interest selling my existing rig.

It's a big beast so really only suitable for collection but if anyone was interested let me know (Rob!?)

It's an Intel i7 920 Clocked at 3.9Ghz
12GB Ram (crucial) Clocked at 1600
Asus P6T-Deluxe MB
2 x 1.5gb GTX 570 OC (gigabyte overclocked from the factory)
Antec 1200 case (the one with the big cooling fan on top)
LG Blueray/DVD Burner

I would put a new HDD in it for you and a new PSU (750w) - as I want to keep the existing ones in there for the new box.

Not looking for a lot of money for it....

Just something to help offset the cost of the new Kit.

I would consider splitting parts if the offer was right, but as it's a good gaming box I'd prefer to keep it intact and working etc.

Performance wise this will easily run Crysis at >>60FPS @1080p with all the goodies turned on and ARMA 2 sits at around 40-60FPS for me depending on the map etc.

Anyway knowing that there is a range of kit out there someone might be interested - let me know

A New 2 Tb HDD and a 750W PSU would be £160 together so I would look for around £600 ? for the whole lot ? (I could fit an SSD if people preferred ?) I'd take on offer or if you want something more custom done I can build it in ?


Only reason I'm not keeping it as a base is that I really want to go Water cooled and this particular rig isn't suited to that without a little bit of hacksawing. It's a proper Air-cooled jobbie. 3 120mm fans front, two back Plus a large 240 or 280mm out the top.

It's really only for those willing to come and collect it, it weighs a huge amount !

You're better off buyin in US anyway howl. You'll get stuff cheaper and better quality for less.

Well assuming my Brother in law doesn't want it - just waiting for a reply - 450 But you will need a PSU - I'd invest in an SSD too. I can do that and fit for whoever wants it and it would add about £150-160 to the price.

BUT REMEMBER FOLKS I'M in SURREY UK. this is not something I can box up and ship around it's just too big and heavy....

Surrey is no issue. I come by every month or so on my way to London/Slough or Bristol. Small detour is no problem.

Price i'm guessing is Pound Sterling?

Ah ok, well that's perfect, we're 10 mins off junction 9 on the M25.

If you're up for it you need to let me order the new stuff first as I want to transfer across all the files etc, but then it's yours if you want it...
