I remember my now kind of odd logic, when I set up my HOTAS over a year ago in ArmA 3. The first time I realized that I now control the parachute with my Joystick was like this:

"Wow, this is actually really practical, since when you jump out of a plane or a helo, you have the joystick in your hand anyway."

I guess this was not completely thought trough.
