I've never even seen the RM badge before, where's that from then ?

Would love to get more bit's n pieces in..

One think we were discussing, seeing as we're an international lot would be the British flag, Royal Marine emblem etc and then the flag of our actual country - ? 

Is that possible using the XML file ?

And can we start maintaining it again ? or get it to work ?

That would require people having the addon.

Oh well if those models are set up to allow the squad xml logo then that's pretty simple. You'd just have to host it like I did on the web server.

Looking good Cooper. Only thing is this will require everyone (including pubbies) to install the addon in order to see it.

With the Squad XML there are no addons required, everyone who's in the XML will walk around with our 3CB logo on their shoulder and on vehicles.

Serjames has been bugging me for a while to get this restarted again. I'll add it to my todo list (yes, I do have one of those. Honest).

Does it work with squad XML for these models?

If it does I'll sort out the xml list and start a new thread getting everyones info again. Also you should probably create a folder for it on the 3CB web space so I can upload the files.

I don't mind keeping this job, since I'm not currently active.

We've not tested the XML with these models yet, will have to do that at some point. Never-the-less, we should really have everyone on the XML anyway.

I'll create a webspace for you tonight so you can upload/update the files. I'm not sure if the Squad XML works with Windows-based web servers though, I remember it used to be an issue for .paa logos (not sure if it still is).

Cooper, hang on. we LOVE what you've done. Just need to interface it with Cat's database so the right file is shared out to all and sundry.

Based on the models you have what and how many PAA's can we use ?

Cat how many can we load on via an xml ?

Cooper, longer term could you create / texture an entire RM uniform for us ? or is that a step too far ?

It probably wouldn't look like coopers pictures. Since the PAA is just a small logo of I think 64x64. The models would have to support the squad XML icon as well. Other than that would have to change the unit addon we use and create our own version, something like coopers has done.

What we could do is create an additional addon file that would create a replacement for the british uniforms. It would only effect the people who have the addon.

There isn't really any need to mess around with his full addon though. You can just replace the parts you need then create a replacement pack with all the modifications. That way we don't have to use a custom version of all the mods.
