Regarding FPS:

Given these settings can be tweaked, I think any FPS issues caused by having an increased number of polys in the scene could be limited. Additionally, they would only really be on display when you look at the ground, where there is little else to render.
Agree that it would be great in a patrol OP setting, where conveniently we also have fewer players and generally higher frames. You can also place down the casings manually in Eden, which means we could generate firing points without necessarily activating the casings spawned by every player.
