What We All 'Think' We Can Pull Off In A Heli..

It is because most forest areas in germany are not exactly "original" and they have been planted by humans. In this video and in a lot of pictures you of a forest in germany you can see all these pine trees conifers. They were planted after the original forest was cut down and used for wood. That also explains why most trees have the same height and thickness and are growing in pretty much straight lines. Most forest areas in germany are still used for the industry and those trees grow fast and have good wood for the industry.

The problem is that this type of forest is not exactly good for nature and they are also vulnerable for parasites and other thing that might hurt a tree. In the last years more and more people understood that a mixed forest is actually better for nature and the enciroment.

A natural forest does not grow like this.

The Celle2 map is perfect for doing that sort of flying. It has forests like that and wide roads running between them.

That pretty much sums up a large proportion of our woodland.
