Errrr.... probably more to do with something like that costing an exorbitant amount of money to do, and we a) don't spend a ludicrous proportion of our GDP on the military like the US, b) don't have anyone we're trying to psyche out like Korea, and c) probably would view it all as being a bit garish :P It serves little military merit, whereas joint training ops that do are frequented by the UK.

There's a massive training exercise going on in Jordan right now (Ex griffin). Before that, a couple months back, France. And half a dozen months before that, Poland, and then there's Canada. And also Salisbury.

The army, at least, are doing exercises with everyone and their mothers participating in regularly. Both brigade size and division.
