I think suppression is not working well in arma, i can put whole belt around guy and he will still stay prone on ground, thats why i go for one round tap.

Thats not very atmospheric for the other members of your section though is it? :p

It's also an issue with the AI rather than the weapon, so not a great deal the mod team can do about it really.

Murphy's Law of Combat Operations # 8: If at first you don't succeed... call in an airstrike.

I still think our gimpys are not accurate enough. its usually way more effective in Arma to take a minimi. faster kill, longer suppression, more ammo transported. The added punch of the GMPG in game is nullified by its inaccuracy even in 3 round bursts

I think I would dig a hole with my eyelids in the same situation to be honest.....

Dont worry i put some extra rounds on when target is down =D Nobody complained yet =D

Just kidding!

Usually im burstin till i see target, then i send him few accurate shots than bursting again..

Yea, yea, there is nothing wrong with mods, gun model doesnt look that bad imho, inaccuracy feels real to me, i never shooted anything else than .22 sport pistol. Mods are great and stuff!

Only thing is suppresing - i basically want them to start surrending as soon as i will start shootin that gympy, i expect them to drop down their weapons put their hands up then tie himself with something.

I would like to see him runing for life to cover, cant imagine situation where somebody is being shot at in the open, there is trees 15 meters from him, he drops on ground and doing like hes not there but hes shooting back instead of tryng to run for cover to trees then return fire. (lets talk about this if you think im wrong)

Dont get me wrong, im not complaining about anything related to 3cb, made this thread to show those who is not familiar with, that that gympy is not golden =)

Also the gas plug, as sometimes the heat shield can be missing

What with the gas plug?

Thank for your advices guys, so we know that m240 have a heat shield, check, but how would you tell apart L7 from original FN MAG?
