In answer to your question Jamster, I've just read over all points of the NDA, it says I cannot disclose information about the game in any way shape or form. It gives me examples like YouTube etc. It doesn't say anything about not being able to share my overall opinion.

I don't think it's a bad game. I think Red Dragon has better graphics than this and everything feels rather clunky at the moment. However, the one thing I liked from the chance I got to play the game was the phases. This really adds a new dynamic to the game as to where you have to care more about the units you have in-game as you may not be able to get them back until the next phase if you lost them, which could be 15 minutes!

Something about the disappearing transports irks me.

Couldn't they have at least put in an option to leave the models on the map? Having vehicles just vanish when your infantry pops out is a little s**t imo.

Only thing that really annoys me is the mortar and artillery, especially the mortar trajectory, looks like a knee mortar than anything. Also the fact that the mortar and arty land on exactly the same spot every single time, instead of spreading out a bit, after all, you can't have a shell land exactly where you want it every single time. 
As for the transports, this could just be a placebo, and even though it looks weird, it definitely helps removes suicide recon and a mass spam of useless units on the map.

There could be a system where you have a limited number of trucks (a large amount), and let's say you lose all the trucks, any infantry you spawn in would then come in on foot. Basically after dis-embarking infantry, the trucks automatically drive either to base or outside map limits, and then said trucks are once again ready for transport. They would work exactly as convoys in HOI4, minus the fact that you can't build any.

In HOI4 you start off with a fair bit of convoys, and so long as they are not being destroyed, you wouldn't have to wait for *number of convoys* to come back from transporting troops just so you can have enough convoys to transport the remaining troops waiting back at base.

You could capture trucks if possible, there is a surrender feature in the game after all. 

As for the arty and mortar trajectory, I heard it was a limitation of the engine itself, so..
